BUILD CARE PROJECT OUTPUT, FAMILY INSIGHTS, RELEVANT ORGANISATIONS, DESIGN GUIDANCE AND MORE
Over the course of the BUILD CARE project, we compiled a collection of resources for anyone seeking support, information, or practical guidance around childhood stroke. This collection brings together BUILD CARE project outputs in multiple formats (such as presentations, journal articles and conference posters), information about key organisations across healthcare, rehabilitation, advocacy, and community support, and personal accounts from children who have experienced stroke and their families. These family accounts offer an insight into everyday life with childhood stroke alongside information about formal services and support. Taken together, these materials form a comperhensive resource base that can support families, practitioners, educators, and designers looking for reliable points of contact, lived-experience perspectives, and starting points for further learning.
